World traveler and design director, Marsha Sabourin calls her clothing line Siganka which means wanderer.
The carefree assuredness of Siganka inspires us to go where ever the sea breeze blows, but as J.R. Tolkien reminds us, "Not all wanders are lost", indeed, some are just plain inspired.
Marsha has always had a keen eye for choosing colors and textiles that many years ago was utilized in her work as an interior designer and women's clothing buyer . After leaving her native Vermont home, Marsha went to Paris for four months, where she roamed the markets, searching for unique accessories that dazzled and sparkled and designers who needed to be brought to the horizon. On route to her beloved Maui, she sold her Parisian treasures to an array of grateful friends. 2002, Siganka was officially born. 2009 Siganka went wholesale.
Marsha and her team delight in designing clothing and jewelry that have withstood the test of time, and help women to see themselves in a new way, one that reflects their essential beauty.
